CHARLES FRIES
Charles Fries is a graduate of Occidental College where he majored in economics and philosophy, graduating in 1974 with honors. After graduating from Georgetown Law School in 1977, Fries was employed at Fries Entertainment, Inc. from 1977 to 1992 as Senior Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. During Fries’ tenure Fries Entertainment produced over 125 motion pictures, supplying virtually all U.S. Networks, and accumulated a library of 400 films, which it distributed worldwide in all media. In June of 1994 Charles Fries then decided to found, a full service distribution company with Producers of independently financed feature films. As president and chief operating officer of Fries Film Group, Inc. ("FFG"), Charles has continued to produce and distribute solid independent films worldwide to Theatrical Distributors and Networks. Charles Fries is also president and principal shareholder in Santa Barbara Filmed Entertainment, a United States distribution company that owns and operates Santa Barbara Home Video and distributes features films for the U.S. Home DVD and Video market. Charles M. Fries resides in Hidden Hills, California with his wife and four children.
